Gaja*

Commercial Restaurant Design
*Designed under Smith Hanes Studio

Hidden on a side street in East Atlanta Village, Gaja offers an underground dining experience that reflects the essence of Korean culture. Designed by Smith Hanes Studio, the restaurant's interiors draw inspiration from Korean chef Allen Suhs heritage. Located within a one-story brick building, Gaja features a visible steel truss barrel-vaulted roof and a striking contrast of exposed brick and hot rolled steel walls.

The relaxed yet adventurous atmosphere is enhanced by custom signage, banners, flags, and memorabilia, all inspired by Korea. This unique setting complements the menu, which offers creative takes on East Asian classics, making Gaja a standout destination for those seeking an authentic and culturally rich dining experience.
